The long and winding journey...

We're all human.

That was proven to be so very true today. I was entering this day full of hope and optimism for a double victory. Yet how different the result turned out to be...

First, I believed that Schumi can get onto the podium from the back of the grid with teammate Rubens winning the race. Yet MS seemed to be lost today. He was mostly off the pace, had a collision with another driver (Klien), spun off, and had a puncture. So much for him scoring points. At least Barrichello still won (from Button and Raikkonen), but I was a bit disappointed with Schumi not scoring.

But I quickly put those thoughts aside for the more important battle between DLSU and FEU for the UAAP Championship. And as I feared and suspected, FEU held us off. Because of that, we have a final duel on Thursday. That's going to go down to the wire.

Other than those events, it was a routine day of sleep and assignments. It's all becoming too much of a drudgery. Sure, I felt all sorts of emotions watching the two games this afternoon. But when getting down to the assignments, I was at a loss for what to feel. What should that mean? I have no idea. Is that a bad thing? I'm not so sure either.

But that's life. As the TV showed me today, we're all human.

That's it for now.

Forza! Animo!
