The long and winding journey...

I sense a screwing coming on...

...just like Colin and Christie did when they got Yielded.

The Amazing Race here was... wow! I can't describe it. It's too bad they can't exactly enjoy the scenery anymore (as the finale is already next week!), but it was fun to see them decorate the jeep first then scramble with the carabao. (They called it an ox! Is IT an ox? I don't think it is...) The taxi hunting at EDSA was also interesting, to say the least. Chip and Kim got lucky after yielding Colin and Christie (who ended up last and with no money... That's why they feel screwed!) and ended up 1st tonight. Yey! I sure hope Chip and Kim win though. We'll see next week... :D

But I'm more concerned another screwing right now. DATPROJ (DBAPDEV Project) with Mr. Oliver Malabanan just showed how close I am to academic hell this term. It's one of the largest projects I've ever been in, if not the largest EVER. Basically, I'm a member of a team, which in turn is part of a set of teams working on a single company. These three teams will work on one HUGE database application with many functionalities that can be easily used by a small- to medium-sized company. As early as this morning, I knew it was going to be a loooooooooooong term ahead. At least Sir Oli was frank about it. But I feel pretty much screwed right now, not to mention worried. Coupled with the SYANAD case, can I go through all the needle holes? I sure hope so...

Speaking of SYANAD, what was mentioned as probable did happen. Sir Sherwin Ona ended up as our final teacher. That's not nearly as bad as what happened last term, (where instead of Ma'am Blessilda Raposa, we got Dr. Aurora Trance for our ANMATH2 [Analytical Math 2] course... and you DLSU people know how frustrating that feels) but most of the class really felt more comfortable with Ma'am Jane. O well...

And that's how the cookie crumbled today. And, boy, did it crumble... ='(

Forza!
