The long and winding journey...

Yes, it's boring, I know.

Dang... nothing of great significance happened today. But at least I sealed the deal for a tutoring gig for the next 4 Saturdays. I'm going to help a kid pass Philippine Science. That should be fun! But it's going to be a bit of work, too. But hey, that's what I get paid for. :D

After that, we went around, dropping by NBS Quezon Ave., then Shopwise Cubao. After eating lunch, we decided to go check out the new malls. First, we went to Gateway (which we heard was on soft opening already), but to no avail. That soft opening was only for Gateway tenants and didn't look like opening to the public for another 2 months or so. From there, we went to Market! Market! at Fort Bonifacio. But it wasn't open yet either. It will open 16th September, so we'll go there again next weekend. From there, it was on to Greenbelt and Rockwell, where there were more foreigners and celebrities than usual (Pia Cayetano, Raul Roco, Cindy Kurleto, Patrick Paez, and Daphne Osena to name a few). I took a go at Initial D at Power Station, but to no avail. (The AI at that level is so bloody good!) Since I was almost out of money, I just watched the others give it a go (Lots of close races to go around). :)

We then went to the new Pancake House near my house and ate dinner, getting home just in time for... sports on TV! FEU defeated ADMU, which means its La Salle-Ateneo in a virtual best-of-3 for a finals spot. It starts on Tuesday, 4pm. (Darn, I have a class at that time!) After that, it was Formula 1 qualifying. Barrichello is on pole from Montoya and Schumi. Ferraris 1st and 3rd should make it look good for me for the race. :) I sure hope so!

See? Nothing of great interest today... Tomorrow should be a good day though, at least for the TV. NASCAR in the morning, F1 tapes and UAAP in the afternoon, and the race in the evening. Tomorrow must be spent wisely, for school starts on Monday! Err...

Haaaaay, life. O well.

Forza!

P.S. In case you didn't notice, today is the 3rd anniversary of the terrorist attacks on the WTC, among other places in the United States. Let's say a prayer for the souls of those killed in the tragedies.
